TikTok comment automation and auto reply API
Set up TikTok auto reply for comments that contain your keywords. A TikTok comment automation flow watches one post published through bundle.social and can post a public reply, like the comment, or both. Every run is recorded in the execution logs.
Last updated: October 2026
Capabilities
Handle TikTok comments after your post goes live
Post-level keyword matching
A flow belongs to one post and only reacts to comments that contain the keywords you list.
Public replies and comment likes
TikTok allows two actions here: a public reply under the comment and a like. A flow can run one or both.
Execution history
Each run records the comment that triggered it and the actions it attempted. If TikTok rejected an action, its error is there too.
How it works
How TikTok comment automation works
- 01
Publish the TikTok post
Publish the post through bundle.social. The flow refers to it by its bundle.social post ID.
- 02
Create the comment flow
Set the keywords to match, add a public reply, a like, or both, and give the actions a short delay.
- 03
Test and publish
Run a test against the comment you expect, then publish the flow and check its executions.
Example
Answer recurring campaign questions
Someone comments “when” or “release” under your product video. A keyword flow replies publicly with the launch details and likes the comment. Add a short delay before the actions, because TikTok sometimes needs a moment before a new comment can be replied to or liked.
Example: reply to a matching TikTok comment
This request creates a draft flow with a public reply and an optional like. Swap the sample IDs for your own account and post IDs, then test the flow and publish it.

Test against the comment you expect and publish when the result looks right. The eight-second delay gives TikTok time to make a fresh comment available for replies and likes.
Getting started
Prepare a TikTok account and one campaign post
Connect the TikTok account with comment permissions, then pick a post that was published through bundle.social. You can build the flow in the dashboard or send the API request above, which uses an eight-second action delay.
Limits
Supported accounts and limits
- On TikTok, automation covers comments only. The available actions are a public reply and a like.
- A comment flow watches a single post, and that post has to be published through bundle.social.
- Replies can be up to 150 characters, the limit TikTok currently documents.
- A new comment is not always available for replies or likes right away, so a short action delay helps.
FAQ
Questions developers ask before building
Does it work on TikTok posts published elsewhere?
No. Comment triggers currently work only on posts published through bundle.social.
Can I create one flow for every TikTok post?
No. A comment flow targets one post, so each post you want to cover needs its own flow.
Why does the example wait eight seconds?
A brand new comment cannot always be replied to or liked right away. Waiting eight seconds gives TikTok time to make it available.
Can I build the flow without writing JSON manually?
Yes. The dashboard builder creates the same flow you would otherwise send through the API.
Where can I inspect a failed reply?
Open the flow's execution history in the dashboard or fetch it through the API. The failed step shows the response TikTok returned.
Which plans include DMs and automations?
bundle.social Pro includes 200 sent DMs and 200 automation runs per connected account each month. Business raises them to 1,000 sent DMs and 1,000 automation runs, and Enterprise limits are agreed per customer. Incoming messages don't count against the sent-DM allowance. DMs and automations are not available on the Free plan. DMs and automations are turned on per organization on request: email [email protected] with your organization ID.
Automate replies to your TikTok campaign comments
Publish a post, attach a keyword flow, and watch the first matching comment.
Message and automation allowances on paid plans are counted per connected account.
