How to Find and Edit Scheduled Posts on Facebook
Find scheduled Facebook posts in Meta Business Suite on desktop or mobile, then reschedule, edit or delete them, and fix why a scheduled post is missing.
To find scheduled posts on Facebook, open Meta Business Suite, select your Page, click Content and open Scheduled; the Planner tab shows the same posts on a calendar. To edit a scheduled post on Facebook, open it from either view and reschedule, edit or delete it. On a phone, use the Meta Business Suite app, or Manage posts on the Page or profile if you scheduled from the Facebook app
You can schedule from a Facebook Page or from a profile with professional mode turned on, and Meta requires a role on the Page that allows you to create posts. A post scheduled through a third-party tool may not be in Meta yet; the last point of the troubleshooting list covers that case.
Pages vs personal profiles
Where a scheduled post shows up depends on where you scheduled it:
| You scheduled from | Where to find it | How to change it |
|---|---|---|
| A Page, in Meta Business Suite (desktop or app) | Content > Scheduled, or the Planner calendar | Open the post: reschedule, edit or delete |
| A Page or a professional-mode profile, in the Facebook app | Manage posts on that Page or profile | Delete the post and create it again |
| A third-party scheduler | That tool's queue or calendar | In that tool, until the post goes live |
Meta's help center documents scheduling only for Pages and for profiles in professional mode, and it describes profile scheduling as a mobile feature. If your personal profile shows no scheduling option, turn on professional mode; Meta's guide to turning pro mode on or off explains how.
How to find scheduled posts on Facebook (desktop)
- Go to business.facebook.com and sign in with the account that manages the Page.
- Make sure the right Page is selected. If you manage several Pages or business portfolios, switch to the correct one first, because each Page has its own schedule.
- Click Content in the left menu.
- Open Scheduled to see the Page's scheduled posts.
- Click a post to open it.
For a calendar view, click Planner in the left menu instead. Scheduled posts and stories appear on their publish dates, and you can move between dates to reach the week or month you need. A post that went into the wrong week is easiest to spot here.
How to edit scheduled posts on Facebook (desktop)
Open the post from Content > Scheduled or from the Planner, then open its menu:
- To change the time, choose the reschedule option, pick a new date and time, and confirm.
- To change text or media, choose the edit option, make your changes, and save the post with its schedule. Compare the preview with what you meant to publish: caption, image or video, link, and the selected Page.
- To stop it publishing, delete it from the post menu, or straight from its date in the Planner. If you might reuse the content, duplicate the post first and keep the copy as a draft.
- If it failed, look under Content > Scheduled: a post that missed its time because of a system error shows an error message there. Open it and click Publish now to publish it manually.
If a post's menu offers no edit action, duplicate the post, change the copy, schedule it for the same time and delete the original, so only one version stays in the queue.
When you rewrite the caption or swap the image, mock up the new version in the social media post preview to see roughly where Facebook folds the text and how the feed crops the image. For the exact length of the new caption, paste it into the Facebook character counter.
How to find and edit scheduled posts on mobile
In the Meta Business Suite app
- Open the app and select the Page.
- Go to the section that lists your posts (Meta's help center calls it Posts & Stories) and tap Calendar.
- Find the post on its scheduled date and tap it.
- Use the post's options to reschedule or delete it.
When you create a post in the app, Schedule for later sets the date and time, and Schedule confirms it. A post saved with Save as draft is not scheduled and will not publish on its own.
In the Facebook app (Pages and professional-mode profiles)
- Open the Page, or your profile if it is in professional mode.
- Tap Manage posts to see everything scheduled.
- To change a scheduled post, delete it there and create it again with the new text or time.

What you can and cannot change on a scheduled post
| Change | Meta Business Suite | Facebook app (Manage posts) |
|---|---|---|
| Publish date and time | Yes, with reschedule | Delete and recreate |
| Caption, media or link | Yes, with edit, or duplicate and replace | Delete and recreate |
| Delete before it publishes | Yes, from the post or its Planner date | Yes |
| Publish immediately | Yes, Publish now on a failed post | Delete and post again |
A scheduled post belongs to the Page it was created on. To publish the same content on another Page, create it again from that Page. A post created for both Facebook and Instagram can publish to one and fail on the other, so check both feeds after the scheduled time.

Why can't I see my scheduled post?
- You are on the wrong Page or business portfolio. Each Page keeps its own schedule, so switch to the Page the post was created for.
- You are looking in the wrong tool. Posts scheduled in Meta Business Suite have to be viewed and managed in Business Suite. Posts scheduled in the Facebook app on a profile are under Manage posts on that profile.
- It is a draft. Save as draft keeps the post without a publish time, so it never appears under Scheduled. Check your drafts.
- It is outside the dates on screen. In the Planner, move to the week or month of the intended publish date.
- It already published or failed. Look for an error message under Content > Scheduled, and check the Page feed for the published post.
- Instagram blocked part of it. If the post also went to Instagram, open the Instagram app and resolve any pop-up notices, then try again.
- Your access changed. You need a role on the Page that allows you to create posts; ask a Page admin to check yours.
- It was scheduled in another tool. Schedulers that keep posts in their own queue send them to Facebook only at publish time, so nothing appears in Meta until then. Look in that tool.
If you scheduled through bundle.social
bundle.social keeps a scheduled post in its own queue and sends it to Facebook at its postDate, so it shows in the bundle.social dashboard's Calendar and Posts views, not in Meta Business Suite. To move it through the API, send a new postDate:
PATCH https://api.bundle.social/api/v1/post/YOUR_POST_ID x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY Content-Type: application/json { "postDate": "2026-12-01T10:00:00Z" }
To find the ID, list scheduled Facebook posts with GET /api/v1/post/?teamId=YOUR_TEAM_ID&status=SCHEDULED&platforms=FACEBOOK&orderBy=postDate&order=ASC. If you set data.FACEBOOK.nativeScheduleTime instead, the post is handed to Meta's own scheduler (feed posts only, not Reels or Stories, up to 30 days ahead) and sits with the Page's other scheduled posts on the Meta side.
When you manage several Pages, the same two requests list and move the queued posts of each client team without opening Business Suite. The Facebook API page covers Page publishing, native scheduling and comments without running your own Meta app.
Keep one version of every post
Before you create a replacement, make sure the original is deleted or rescheduled, or both versions will go out. If the replacement uses a new image, crop it to a Facebook feed size in the social media image resizer, which processes the file on your device without uploading it. After the publish time, open the Page and confirm the post is live with the right caption and media.
If you schedule for many Pages or clients, a scheduling API lets one integration manage every client's queue, and the guide to scheduling posts across multiple platforms covers the cross-network workflow. For LinkedIn, see how to schedule LinkedIn posts. The bundle.social Free plan includes 20 posts a month.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I find scheduled posts on Facebook?
For a Page, open Meta Business Suite at business.facebook.com, select the Page, click Content and open Scheduled. The Planner tab shows the same posts on a calendar. If you scheduled from the Facebook app on a Page or a professional-mode profile, tap Manage posts on that Page or profile instead.
Can I edit a scheduled Facebook post on mobile?
In the Meta Business Suite app, open your posts, tap Calendar, find the post on its date and use its options to reschedule or delete it. In the Facebook app, Meta's instructions for Pages and professional-mode profiles say to delete the scheduled post under Manage posts and create it again with your changes.
Can I schedule posts on a personal Facebook profile?
Meta documents scheduling for Facebook Pages and for profiles with professional mode turned on, and describes profile scheduling as a mobile feature in the Facebook app. Scheduled profile posts appear under Manage posts on the profile. If your profile has no schedule option, turning on professional mode is the documented way to get it.
Why did my scheduled Facebook post not publish?
Meta lists a few causes: a system error at publish time, an unresolved issue on a linked Instagram account, or a post meant for both apps reaching only one. Failed posts show an error message under Content, then Scheduled, in Meta Business Suite, where you can open the post and click Publish now.
Do posts scheduled in other tools show up in Meta Business Suite?
Only if the tool hands them to Meta's scheduler. bundle.social keeps scheduled posts in its own queue by default and sends them at publish time, so they appear in the bundle.social Calendar, not in Business Suite. With the nativeScheduleTime field, a feed post is scheduled directly with Meta, up to 30 days ahead.
