What you need

  • Self-hosted n8n with the n8n-nodes-bundlesocial node
  • A Google Drive credential in n8n
  • A TikTok account connected to a bundle.social team
  • Works on the Free plan (20 posts a month)

How the workflow works

Each step is a node in the workflow, under the same name.

  1. 01

    New file in Drive folder

    The Google Drive Trigger checks the folder you pick every minute and passes on each file created since the last check.
  2. 02

    Only videos

    An IF node keeps files whose MIME type starts with video/ and drops everything else, so a stray PDF never reaches TikTok.
  3. 03

    Download file

    Google Drive downloads the file into the binary field data.
  4. 04

    Upload to bundle.social

    Upload Large File sends the video to bundle.social storage, up to 5 GB, and returns an upload id.
  5. 05

    Create post

    The bundle.social node posts a TikTok video with the file name as the caption and privacy set to PUBLIC_TO_EVERYONE.

Set it up

Credentials and troubleshooting are on the n8n integration page.

  1. On self-hosted n8n, open Settings > Community Nodes, install n8n-nodes-bundlesocial, and accept the notice.
  2. Download the workflow file and import it with Workflows > Import from File.
  3. Add a bundle.social API credential with a key from bundle.social > Organization > API Keys.
  4. Add a Google Drive credential and pick the folder to watch in New file in Drive folder.
  5. In Create post, pick the team that has the TikTok account connected.
  6. Activate the workflow, then drop a file into the folder to test it.

Before you rely on it

  • TikTok limits the privacy levels some creators can use. If the post fails on privacy, pick another level in TikTok Settings.
