Waiting for n8n verification

The node is published on npm as n8n-nodes-bundlesocial and works on self-hosted n8n today. n8n Cloud only installs verified community nodes, so on Cloud it will appear once n8n approves it. Until then, Cloud users can call the API with the built-in HTTP Request node.

Connect n8n to bundle.social

Pick the method that matches where your n8n runs. Both use the same API key.

Community node (self-hosted n8n)

Gives you every operation as a regular n8n node with dropdowns for teams and platforms.

  1. 01

    Install the package

In n8n, open Settings > Community Nodes > Install, enter n8n-nodes-bundlesocial, accept the notice, and click Install.
  2. 02

    Create an API key

In bundle.social > Organization > API Keys, create a key and copy it.
  3. 03

    Add the credential

In n8n, go to Credentials > Add credential, search for bundle.social API, and paste the key. Leave Base URL at https://api.bundle.social. The credential test reads your organization, so a green check means the key works.
  4. 04

Add the node to a workflow

Search for bundle.social in the node panel, pick a resource such as Post, then an operation such as Create. The Team field loads your teams from the API.

HTTP Request node (n8n Cloud and self-hosted)

Works on n8n Cloud and self-hosted n8n. On Cloud, use it until the community node is verified.

  1. 01

    Create a Header Auth credential

Add a credential of type Header Auth. Set Name to x-api-key and Value to your bundle.social API key.
  2. 02

    Configure the request

Add an HTTP Request node, set Authentication to Generic Credential Type > Header Auth, pick the credential, and point it at an endpoint such as POST https://api.bundle.social/api/v1/post/.
  3. 03

    Send a JSON body

Turn on Send Body, choose JSON, and paste the request body from the API reference. Expressions work inside it, so you can map fields from earlier nodes.

What the n8n node can do

The node is generated from the bundle.social OpenAPI spec, so it has 195 operations across 27 resources. These are the ones most workflows use.

What the n8n node can do
ResourceWhat it does
PostCreate, update, get, list, delete, and retry posts. Post > Create has a settings section per platform.
UploadUpload a binary file, create an upload from a URL, or send files up to 5 GB with Upload Large File. Pass the returned id to Upload IDs.
AnalyticsRead post and account analytics, raw platform payloads, and force a refresh.
CommentCreate, list, delete, and retry comments, and import existing ones.
ConversationRead Instagram and Facebook Messenger conversations and send replies. Needs a paid plan.
AutomationCreate, test, publish, and pause comment-to-DM and auto reply flows. Needs a paid plan. DMs and automations are turned on per organization on request: email [email protected] with your organization ID.
Team and Social AccountCreate teams, generate connect links, and manage accounts.

Troubleshooting

Common n8n problems and how to fix them
ProblemFix
The Team dropdown is emptyThe node has no credential selected, or the API key belongs to another organization. Pick the bundle.social API credential in the node and check that its test passes.
Validation error when creating a postThe API lists every invalid field, for example data.TIKTOK.text: Required. Fill in the settings section of each platform you picked in Social Account Types.
The post stays in PROCESSING or SCHEDULEDSome networks, Instagram among them, take a while to process media. Wait longer before you read the post back, for example 90 to 120 seconds in a Wait node.
The post ends with status ERRORThe reason is in the error field of the post. Most often the social account needs to be reconnected in bundle.social.
429 after refreshing analyticsForced analytics refreshes are limited to 6 a day per post and 6 a day per account. Reading analytics without forcing a refresh does not use that limit.
403 on analytics operationsAnalytics needs a paid bundle.social plan. Publishing and uploads work on the Free plan.

FAQ

Can I use the bundle.social node on n8n Cloud?

Not yet. n8n Cloud only installs verified community nodes, and ours is waiting for verification. On Cloud, use the HTTP Request node with a Header Auth credential until then.

Can an n8n AI Agent use the node as a tool?

Yes. Attach the node to an AI Agent as a tool. On self-hosted n8n, set N8N_COMMUNITY_PACKAGES_ALLOW_TOOL_USAGE=true so community nodes can be used as tools.

Which networks can I post to from n8n?

All 15 networks bundle.social supports, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Threads, and Bluesky.

Do I pay per connected social account?

No. Paid bundle.social plans include unlimited connected accounts. The Free plan allows 20 posts a month, which is enough to build and test a workflow.
