What you need

  • Self-hosted n8n with the n8n-nodes-bundlesocial node
  • A paid bundle.social plan, because the workflow reads analytics
  • An Instagram business or creator account connected to a team

How the workflow works

Each step is a node in the workflow, under the same name.

  1. 01

    Get organization and List teams

Reads your organization and the teams with their connected accounts.
  2. 02

    Upload image from Lorem Picsum

bundle.social downloads a random image and returns an upload id.
  3. 03

    Create Instagram post

Creates the post scheduled for now, so it publishes right away.
  4. 04

Wait for publishing, Get post, Published?

Waits 60 seconds, reads the post back, and checks that its status is POSTED.
  5. 05

    Refresh and read analytics

Forces a fresh analytics pull for the post and the account, reads the raw Instagram payloads, and puts normalized and raw metrics side by side.

Set it up

Credentials and troubleshooting are on the n8n integration page.

  1. On self-hosted n8n, open Settings > Community Nodes, install n8n-nodes-bundlesocial, and accept the notice.
  2. Download the workflow file and import it with Workflows > Import from File.
  3. Add a bundle.social API credential with a key from bundle.social > Organization > API Keys.
  4. In Create Instagram post, pick a team with a connected Instagram account.
  5. Click Execute workflow.

Before you rely on it

  • Forced analytics refreshes are limited to 6 a day per post and 6 a day per account.
  • If the post is still processing, raise the Wait for publishing time to 90 or 120 seconds.
