Instagram feed and grid planner

This Instagram feed planner lays out the images you plan to post in a profile-style grid, and the same grid works for TikTok. Move tiles until the grid looks right, then read off the order to publish them in. Everything stays on your device; saving the plan in this browser is optional.

How to use

  1. 01

    Drop your images

Up to 30 at once. New images land at the top left, the newest spot in a profile grid. Each image is downscaled to 720 px for planning and stays on your device.
  2. 02

    Choose Instagram or TikTok

Both grids have three columns of roughly 3:4 tiles; TikTok crops tall video covers into them and uses a dark background. Switching keeps your images.
  3. 03

    Reorder until it works

Select a tile and use Move earlier, Move later, Move to start or Move to end, press the arrow keys on a focused tile, or drag with a mouse. Remove tiles you no longer want.
  4. 04

Read the posting order and export

Tile 1 is the newest post, so publish the last tile first and tile 1 last. Download the grid as a PNG to share, or switch on saving to keep the plan in this browser.

Why the posting order is the reverse of the grid

A profile grid is sorted newest first: the last post you publish sits at the top left and pushes everything else one place along. If you lay out nine tiles and want them to appear exactly like that, publish tile 9 first and tile 1 last. The tool shows the publish position on every selected tile and in the note under the grid, so you can schedule the posts in that order in whatever you use to publish. Changing the plan later, for example by inserting a post in the middle, shifts every tile after it by one place.

What saving in this browser means

The save switch is off by default. When you turn it on, the order and the downscaled tile images are written to this browser's IndexedDB, a storage area that only this site on this device can read. Nothing is sent to bundle.social or anyone else, and there is no account behind it. If the browser runs out of storage you see a specific message and the plan keeps working in memory on the page. Switching the toggle off or pressing Clear saved plan deletes the stored copy; the plan on the page stays until you reset it.

Limitations

  • The grid is an approximation of a profile page. Instagram and TikTok change tile ratios, gaps and cropping; the tool uses observed values (about 3:4 tiles, center crop) because neither platform documents them.
  • It plans images only. Videos, Reels covers, pinned posts and the exact crop handles of the apps are not simulated.
  • Nothing is scheduled or published. The posting order is informational; you still publish each post yourself or through a scheduler.
  • Saving is local to this browser profile. It does not sync between devices or browsers, and the browser may clear site data at any time.
  • Large batches use memory. Each tile is kept as a downscaled JPEG, and the export is capped at 1080 px wide and 4096 px tall, so very long grids export with smaller tiles.

FAQ

Is this an Instagram feed planner that connects to my account?

No. It never asks for a login and has no access to any account. It arranges local images in a grid that looks like a profile page so you can judge the layout before you post.

Does the planner upload my images?

No. Images are read on your device, downscaled in the browser for planning and shown from local object URLs. The optional save keeps them in this browser only.

Why do new images appear at the top left and not at the end?

Because that is where a new post appears on a profile. The top-left tile is the newest post, so adding at the start keeps the grid in profile order. Use Move to end if you want an image at the bottom.

How do I reorder tiles without a mouse?

Tab to a tile and press the arrow keys: Left and Right move it one place, Up and Down move it a whole row, Home and End send it to the start or end, Delete removes it. The same actions are available as buttons once a tile is selected.

Will the exported PNG match my real profile?

Only roughly. Tile ratios, gaps and cropping are approximations of what Instagram and TikTok show today, and both change their grids from time to time. Use the export to judge balance and sequence; exact pixel positions in the app will differ.

What happens to a saved plan when I clear my browser data?

It is deleted with the rest of the site data, and the save switch resets to off. The plan is never stored anywhere else, so export the grid PNG if you need a copy that survives that.
