Limitations

  • Event title (58 characters) and offer coupon code (58) have their own caps in bundle.social and are not fields of this counter.
  • Google rejects posts for content reasons (phone numbers, certain words) regardless of length; this tool checks length only.

What is the Google Business Profile post character limit?

This counter and bundle.social both use 1,500 characters for a Google Business Profile post, but the figure is marked not verified. The Business Profile API reference describes the summary field without a maximum, and the Help Center page read on 1 November 2026 did not state a number, so 1,500 is the limit bundle.social enforces rather than one confirmed by Google.

Do offers and events have the same limit?

The summary text does. Offers add a coupon code, terms and a redeem link; events add a title and dates. bundle.social caps offer terms at 1,500 and the event title and coupon code at 58 characters.

Can I include a phone number or a link in the text?

Length-wise yes, but Google often rejects posts containing phone numbers and prefers the call-to-action button for links. This tool does not check content rules.

How much of the post is visible before "Read more"?

Google does not publish the figure and it varies by surface. Put the main message in the first sentence.
